PROJECT SCOPE

Wiegmann’s HVAC solution for Hubbell Incorporated’s new Killark Electric facility was designed to meet strict temperature requirements of the 63,200-square-foot conditioned manufacturing plant and the 63,300-square-foot warehouse. The Wiegmann team value engineered the originally designed HVAC system to bring the project into budget.

Their HVAC design streamlined ductwork in the office area, redesigned cooling loads throughout and reduced capacity in the industrial and warehouse areas. Wiegmann installed a 32-zone digital controls (DDC) building automation system to optimize comfort control and energy usage in the 33,000-square-foot office space.

Killark Electric is a global provider of industrial and explosion-proof products engineered to withstand the toughest extremes in climate.
