PROJECT CHALLENGE/SOLUTION

Simon is a global leader in retail real estate ownership, management and development, with retail properties across North America.  Simon St. Louis Premium Outlets features more than 85 shops.

Wiegmann was the HVAC contractor for the new, eight-building outlet mall. Rooftop units (RTUs) were used to serve the tenant spaces.  We value engineered  the original sheet metal design for cost savings and simplicity.

The overall size and number of tenant spaces as well as the tight schedule were the primary project challenges. We set 181 rooftop units in one day. Organization and coordination was paramount.

While the scope of our original contract was limited to the core building, our role was expanded. We completed approximately 25% of the tenant build-outs as well.
