PROJECT CHALLENGE/SOLUTION
Wiegmann helped bring the project into budget by engineering HVAC solutions through a Design/Assist role.
PROJECT SCOPE
The new $17.5 million, 100-unit Cedarhurst of St. Charles assisted living and memory care facility is the first senior living community in the St. Louis region to be strategically located adjacent to a university campus, Lindenwood University.
Wiegmann installed an energy efficient Variable Air Volume (VAV) system for common and corridor areas of the 99,000-square- foot building.A short plenum made installation of a VAV system difficult but we were able to install this energy efficient solution. We also installed packaged terminal air conditioning units in resident rooms and a DeltaControls building automation system.
