Project Challenge/Solution

The complex and precise temperature and humidity requirements of MRI systems and their associated equipment rooms require highly specialized expertise and understanding of HVAC systems. Wiegmann replaced outdated chillers at three Metro Imaging locations with energy efficient chillers to achieve these stringent environmental needs. Solutions included installing material and equipment outside of the range of the MRI’s magnetism. Since 2000, Wiegmann has provided ongoing HVAC service, including preventative maintenance and repairs, to all five locations of Metro Imaging and their administrative offices.
