Project Challenge/Solution

Wiegmann was challenged to design an HVAC system for Golden Eagle Distributing Company that not only met their unique load and precise temperature requirements, but also was energy efficient and reliable.

Our solution featured high efficiency packaged rooftop equipment complete with variable speed drives on the supply fans for the 60F warehouse, a VAV system for the office spaces, and Freon refrigeration systems for the 34F draught cooler. We performed energy modeling and analysis to document that the building qualified for a federal EPAct tax deduction.
