Project Scope

Wiegmann designed and installed the HVAC for the four-story senior living housing complex using RTU’s, VTAC’s, FCU split systems, and air distribution. Wiegmann’s goal was to provide the client with a functional HVAC system that would satisfy the thermal comfort of people living and working in this facility.

The primary project challenge was designing and selecting a system that would work in the limited ceiling space that was provided. Many different system types were evaluated. Given the space constraints, several fan coil-split systems were ultimately utilized that would still provide individual zone control in the common areas and meet the project goals.
