Industrial facilities present unique HVAC requirements that affect processes, employees and energy usage. From concept to turnover, we provide turnkey design and construction, and we serve as prime contractor for projects nationwide.

We have extensive expertise across numerous industrial facility types, from food and beverage processing and distribution to specialized manufacturing facilities with unique temperature and humidity constraints. Our large team of mechanical engineers can tackle the most complex challenges with innovative, cost effective HVAC solutions.

Some of the Industrial project challenges we’ve met:

  • The BAE Systems’ advanced defense electronic systems manufacturing facility required cooling water to allow process equipment to operate within temperature tolerances. The production equipment also required gaseous nitrogen, liquid nitrogen, compressed air, hot exhaust air, chemical exhaust air, all of which posed unique design challenges. We designed an innovative, award-winning HVAC solution that met precise temperature and humidity requirements and allowed for ultimate flexibility to accommodate anticipated changes to production in the future.
  • Despite complex existing systems and dense warehouse and production spaces, efficiently installed HVAC equipment and a compressed air system for Watlow, an industrial heater and sensor manufacturing facility.
  • Furnished and installed process exhaust and intake systems at Starr Textiles, an industrial laundry. Provided spot cooling solutions at specific locations throughout the older, poorly insulated warehouse facility.
  • Engineered solutions to overcome challenges of the hot Arizona desert climate while optimizing energy efficiency of the HVAC and refrigeration systems for Crescent Crown Distributing. Selected equipment with the correct cooling capacity, designed a Variable Air Volume system, and installed a Building Automation System.
